The wiki should solve active play questions
A Subnautica 2 wiki is most useful when it answers a live player problem before it becomes an encyclopedia. The first version should not chase hundreds of thin creature or item pages. It should establish dependable hubs for map routes, biomes, resources, fragments, base locations, co-op, platform status and updates.
Once the Early Access data settles, individual resource, creature and biome pages can be expanded without changing the site structure.
| Wiki area | First answer | Expansion path |
|---|---|---|
| Map | Where should I go next? | Coordinates and route screenshots |
| Resources | Where do I find this material? | Resource-specific pages |
| Blueprints | What fragments unlock this tool? | Fragment maps and scan counts |
| Biomes | How dangerous is this zone? | Depth, loot, predators and base fit |
| Updates | What changed after patch notes? | Version history and changed routes |
Spoiler-aware structure
Subnautica players often want a hint, not a full story reveal. Pages should put quick practical answers first, then mark deeper narrative or late-route details clearly. That keeps the site useful for first-time players and completionists.
